Made a Committment

Day 2 of my renewed program...Last night's trainer session was a good workout, although I sweated more when I worked out with Laura, my last trainer. This young man seems to be new to training others, and I may be a bit of a challenge to train since I've been doing it for a while. I did come away with some alternatives to my weight-training, so it was worthwhile. I won't sign up for more sessions, though...

He concentrated on circuit-training and I can't say that I've done that in the past. I liked doing the 4 sets of 12 reps on alternating machines. The club I met with him isn't my usual gym, though, and my club doesn't have those exact same machines. I may be able to evaluate the muscles-types, though, and do a similar workout. I feel some tension in the muscles today due to DOMS, so it did work muscles I've been missing! All in all, it wasn't time wasted.

Thankfully I haven't had any tempting thoughts for sweets...That's always appreciated! I had a ton of veggies yesterday with good clean protein. I'm planned for a similar day today.

I took some time to read some devotions and listened to some uplifting music on the way to work this morning. I had some lovely visualizations during the music that made my heart soar! That's the kind of nourishment I need!

All the best and keep the faith in ALL things!
Margaret
