Happy Friday Everyone!!!!

This week went quickly and we've tons of stuff planned for the weekend. Sometimes this can cause me to become unfocused of my goals, but I am intent on keeping on this road of success. Today is BFD18 and I am so grateful.

The last couple of days, I've had intermittent cravings. I know there are circumstances within and outside of my control contributing to them. When the cravings have hit, I look at it to see "What is causing it?" and then look at "What can I do to extricate myself from the situation?". An example is I was sitting in the kitchen, relaxing while watching TV in between tasks the other day. The cravings hit and I knew that if I was going to relax watching TV, it should be in the living room away from the kitchen. This morning I went to an office to assist users and they always have a pigout Friday of snacks and have offered them to me. I knew that: 1) I wasn't hungry 2) I had my portioned food planned for the day 3) I was out of there as soon as the work was completed. So, mission accomplished on all fronts. This Sunday will be a reward meal for my niece's birthday celebration, but it won't seep into the rest of the day as a pigout! I will guiltlessly enjoy the meal.

My quad has been giving me discomfort and the chiro attributes it to a pinched nerve in my spine. I will have a session today and I pray that it will resolve. Part of the discomfort spurs me on to continue losing the fat recognizing that my body really doesn't need the extra bulk to lug around...
