Well, things are settling back into something of a familiar routine...Yesterday, I had a crazy busy day at work but was bound and determined to get a resistance workout in...something that has been lacking in the last couple of formless weeks...After work and a haircut, I got home and DH had a healthy supper on the stove but I made a stop to a stash of hidden chocolates and succumbed...Arghh....So, I pushed myself quite hard for my workout.
I did a respectable upper body workout followed by 2 sessions on the stationary bike that totaled 45 minutes of interval training...I kept thinking of the sugar molecules that I was burning up. Frustrating also, because the rest of the day's nutrition had been very good! Oh well, I'm taking the steps to get that 100% program back. Today will add to the progress with a cardio session of some type. Have already gotten 2 quick walks in that have really been helping the thighs and butt slim down.
Emotionally, I'm doing well and am staying close to loved ones to make sure they know my love and appreciation of theirs. They say life is short, but I am glad to take the many given opportunities to love and be loved. It's really been quite amazing to get closer to everyone, even more than I thought I could. My dear husband and children have all been so wonderfully supportive. I know we're all celebrating the mercy that was granted to my dear father.
So, spring in WI and we're experiencing growth in all areas! Even personal ones...Carpe Diem!

Am so glad to read a post from you. Was anxious to hear how things were going and how you are. I chuckled at your choco stash...I used to have one, but finally had to just throw it all out if I didn´t want to pig on it. There are times when you just HAVE to have a bite. Take care and glad it´s a nice springtime there for you.
Hugs,
Lynda
