So glad that I have a car when I see these poor folks waiting for the bus! We're raining the proverbial cats and dogs today, and it really happened at an opportune time. I've been reporting the addition of frequent, brisk, short walks throughout the day, as well as my continued regular workouts six days per week. Today was a planned day off of workouts and I'm glad to be prohibited from the walks by the rain. I need the break. I'm bothered by a hip pain at times if I overdue it and I've experienced some achiness the last couple of days...So, I'm gonna enjoy the day off today!
Also realized that I still have my "reward" meal left for the week. Haven't had a social event to use it and just kept the nutrition very organized and healthy thus far for the week. I'm waiting for my body to realize that it's getting to be that TOTM too, but am focused with minimal thoughts of unhealthy foods. How great is that!!!!!! It really is such a freedom to be able to focus on other things, rather than what is to eat next!!!! This week has had some episodes that perked an occasional thought, but I've been able to recognize it, stop-breathe-pray-believe about it, and move onward! When Debbie and I had ventured into Harry & David's last Monday, I have to say there were all kinds of red lights and alarms going off in my head. As soon as we walked in the door, a woman came prepared with a tray of sweets to offer. We politely said "no thanks" and perused a bit. I know that one bite is never enough for me when it comes to those "red light" foods. So, all in all, it was an excellent exercise in saying no, with each other's presence to support us!
Plan on taking a fun pic to share of my DGD1 tomorrow....so keep an eye out for that!
Stay dry and warm everyone....

Nice job at the Harry & David's. If it were the Olympics that would be a perfect 10 at the highest difficulty level. Thanks for coming by my blog. :)
