Hanging onto my sanity by a thread today! It's been chaotic and my brain is about to say "Enough!" I am keeping it together, but it is one moment at a time. I did tell my DT members that at least I'm working at full capacity...not like the old days trying to slug through a carb coma to get SOMETHING done. Really pitiful at times in the past...It seems like a lifetime ago.
Isn't it interesting to see food and exercise as fuel for the brain, as well as the body. When I was in school a couple of years ago, I "stumbled upon" the fact that studying during exercise helped clarify the material I was learning. I had brought a programming book to the gym to help wile the time away and noticed that the challenging data was so much more understandable while I was on the elliptical trainer! After that, I always brought my challenging programming text books to the gym.
This morning, while running around "putting out fires", I took the 10 minute break to take a brisk walk around the grounds and found I was able to focus more effectively on all the activities of the day.
Of course, the food is an absolute must in maintaining mental clarity. Not only do the carbs make me docile and dull, but they limit any flashes of situational clarity...dare I say brilliance! ;-)
So, today I'm working through the activities of the day and not going to limit myself in any way! Food and exercise on-point and all will work out as designed by my loving Father.
Stop....Breathe....Pray....Believe!

Hi, Just a comment on your eating. You´re doing well just being aware of what you eat, so little by little you will have victory!
Lynda
Hey Margaret,
Did you see where Amanda posted on my blog? Was so surprised, went to check out her´s and it´s a good one. Hope she can make a go of it this time. This blogging is really a good start to things.
Yes, would love to see you guys too. Wouldn´t it be fun to meet in Rome, at the Spanish Steps, talk, have some red Italian wine, some pizza, and talk it all over. Would be wonderful for us girls to show off our slinky jeans and leave the DHs to oggle the Italian girls!
Will give you Amanda´s blog when I get to it. Check it out!
