I love to ride my bicycle, and finally had time to get it out and tires checked the other day. Instead of getting in the car and burning up gas, I hopped on my bike to ride to my errand. While pedaling for the first time this season, I was pleasantly surprised to find improved strength in my pedaling technique. I'm sure it's the result of my continued conditioning all winter and the recent walks I've been taking. My legs felt strong and I could tell my speed was significantly increased! Oh boy, now if I could just figure out a way for my "seat" to last longer than my legs! Also, the pot holes created by the snow and salt this winter requires me to keep a careful eye on the road. I hit the edge of one that was 4 " deep, with a 12" diameter, the other night...Thankfully, I only caught the outer edge of it or I might have gone flying! With the wonderful spring warmth out there, I will enjoy another ride today.
Food is organized and going well. I've gotten good at having the needed items in the house and can feel creative as the spirit moves me! Tonight, I'm using up some fresh mushrooms and slicing up zucchini and yellow squash to make a favorite vegetable combination of ours. Glad DH likes veggies too!!!
Healthy and Happy day everyone!

You make me want to get out and ride my bike too! I don´t have potholes, but do have lots of hills, so all up or down. Get so tired! Congrats on improving your technique. Tonite I had brussels sprouts...one of my favorites. Can´t get yellow squash in Spain.
Thinking of you!

Thanks for saying "hi" Lynda..
Hey, I've always meant to ask where "Marbella" came from?
Have a wonderful day!

Marbella is the ritziest town on the south coast of Spain in Málaga province. Some of the richest Arab princes have homes (heck palaces) there, as do many movie stars and the wealthy. Decided to choose that name and have had it going now for years. Funny is that have never been there. Close, but not quite there.
Have a wonderful weekend!
