Week 1 Goal met and surpassed!!! Melted off 2.2 lbs of fat this week with the scale finally acquiescing to my actions! It was such a wonderful feeling to see that new number...It certainly felt like it was happening.
Our Wisconsin spring is in full bloom today with the temperature expected to reach in the 60's. What a welcome season after this nearly record-breaking winter of snowfall. I will enjoy myself on the brisk walk I've incorporated into my routine. I envision my metabolism getting an additional kickstart with these little extras.
Was grateful for my DD1's assistance last night with the grocery shopping. I was tired from the week, and wanted to get that out of the way, so her willingness to push that darn cart around was sure welcome. So, my refrigerator is stocked with healthy nutrition ready-to-eat. It makes the rest of the week go more successfully to be ready when I'm rushing around trying to find something to feed the hunger. I've even been purchasing ready-cleaned/cut veggies and fruits so there are greater opportunities to feed our bodies with healthy fuel! It's a couple of dollars extra, but I've spent much more than that in the past on junk food!
Have a coupon and will check out something new for spring...A girl needs to feel pretty! ha-ha.
Tonight will dine with an old friend. I'm having my "reward" meal tonight and will enjoy the sushi and a couple of alcoholic beverages, as well as the relaxation and conversation.
So, am happy and ready to hit next week's goal with the same effort I put in this week. Will get my weekly pic in the morning and post it. One of my DreamTeam friends suggested shorts and tight T-shirt to show evidence of body changes instead of the swimsuit and I have just the thing. Thanks Joanne!
Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

Hi Margaret,
Love your blog and keeping up with you. Makes a difference to eat well doesn´t it? And can´t wait to see a photo of you. I don´t use the shorts etc route, as it´s easy to see why not, but did post a jeans photo this week. Your blog is such fun to visit!
Lynda
